
Elder Annette R. Porter is a native Floridian, raised in the
Elder Porter accepted God’s call to preach at the tender age of sixteen and began preaching at nineteen. She has been preaching for over 25 years. She attended Dominion Leadership University (formerly known as Kingdom Worship Center’s School of Ministry) where she studied under the tutelage of Bishop Ralph L. Dennis from 2000 – 2002. Upon completion, she was ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s church in July 2002.
Elder Porter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Florida A&M University. She later earned a Master of Science in Nursing Administration, Health Services Leadership & Management from the University of Maryland. Her goal is to attain a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. She has served in the Nursing field for over 26 years and is currently employed as a trainer in the healthcare system.
Elder Porter resides in the city of Charlotte, NC with her husband Bishop Alan Gregory Porter, Senior Pastor of the Greater Salem Church. Lady A’s hobbies include reading and singing, as she is the product of a family that is very active in music ministry. Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” She loves the Lord Jesus with all of her heart and strength and endeavors to convey His love in her lifestyle, in her worship, in her profession
